Have you ever had a day where nothing made sense and you just wanted to give up?
I had one of those days recently. But a small incident changed my entire perspective in just 10 minutes — and I want to share it with you today.
Yesterday, after a long tiring day, I sat down thinking — “Why am I doing so much? Is it even worth it?”
My mind was heavy, motivation low, and patience almost zero.
I went outside for a walk, hoping fresh air would help. On the way, I saw a little girl, maybe 6–7 years old, trying to tie her shoelace.
She tried once — it opened.
She tried again — failed.
Third time — still not correct.
She sat silently for 2 seconds. Then instead of crying or giving up, she smiled, tightened her grip, and tried again.
Finally, she got it right.
She jumped happily and said to her mother:
“See? I did it!”
Her mother replied softly:
“Yes, because you didn’t stop.”
I don’t know why, but those words hit me deeply.
Here I was, grown-up, strong, experienced — yet ready to quit because something wasn’t working immediately.
And that small child reminded me of something important:
Trying again is also progress.
Life Lesson
We often over-judge ourselves. We want results fast. If it doesn’t work, we feel we failed.
But the truth is simple:
Everything you want is on the other side of “one more try”.
Don’t quit on the 3rd attempt — your success may be waiting at the 4th.
How You Can Apply This Today
✅ When you feel stuck, pause — don’t quit
✅ Take a break, breathe, start again
✅ Celebrate progress, not just results
